  • What do you use in tight spots?

What type of pads do you guys use around tight spots(ie. under door handles) when compounding with 105/205? All I see is LC LSP red pads are they course enough?? I wouldn't dare getting close with my Flex to some of these spots! Thanks

I always use an applicator pad. I also remember someone on here mentioning using just their finger with some 105 to get in those tight spots.

I work by hand there, normally I use UC there and M105 on the vehicle.

105 and a MF towel or foam applicator.

Haven't tried one yet, but I'm looking into a microfiber finger mitt

A small 3in Soft Buff pad works for me!

Hand application for the really tight spots and 4" LC CCS pads via PC7424 for tighter areas of the bumpers, spoilers, trunk lid contours, etc. I leave the Flex for everything else...

The LC CCS pads come in all the colors/flavors/foam combinations that the bigger pads do so you can get as course as the CCS Yellow to as mild as the CCS Red.

This will probably get moved to detailing 101
