I have tried Dodojuice Blue Velvet because I won a sample from Autogeek. I wasn't impressed much with it.

Okay, I know you also dislike NXT. Have you found a wax or sealant yet with which you have been impressed? What is important for you? Shine? gloss? wetness? depth? durability? ease of application and removal? cost?

My experience with waxes and sealants has been different than yours. So far I have tried seven different protectives on my Luthien. I really haven't been disappointed with any of them. My car looks great dressed in each. Each wax has its nuances (at least I think they do), but I have to admit that I have not seen dramatic differences between them. I am beginning to think that Dave KG of Detailing World is right: prep really is 99% of appearance. But I have not given up on my search for the magic wax. We shall we how I feel about all of this in a year's time.

Anyway, keep on experimenting. I'm sure that eventually you will find a wax that you like.

      Cheers,
      Al

So far the only product I have found that I like is Optimum Spray Wax. Its not that I dislike NXT, I just find it more of a sealant than a wax. Cost isn't a big concern for me. I would say that wetness and depth are the most important. I think prep is more like 99.9% of appearance.

        Maybe I'm just too picky

Much as I was disappointed in how Hyper Dressing looked, yet love the way M40 looks.

          .
NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0 is actually a sealant but labeled a wax so it does not confuse people who want to buy it.

Is it a wax? Or a paint sealant?

If we weren't "too picky," we would be hanging out here on MOL.
