Last week, I have a chance to try DA with Ultimate Compound on one panel. The result was awesome! 3 to 4 passes and it removed light scratches & swirls, easily - no sweats.
But what most challenging is to remove the Ultimate Compound after the DA, it is kind of gum-up and stick onto the paintwork. I followed the instruction using Microfiber/Terry cloth to wipe off, but, not very effective. I struggled a little and there are still a lot of residue on the paintwork under my SureFire torch. I also spray some QD but no avail.
In the end, I used Paint Cleaner to remove. I wonder if there is any effective method to remove the Ultimate Compound residue more effectively or is there any tricks that I may not aware of?
Thanks.
PS: I tried to do a search, but there is no similar thread. If you are aware of the ant thread that sound like this, please drop me the link. Thanks.
