  • Apply wax using a pressure washer?

    Hello,

Is it possible to apply a wax to a car using a pressure washer, sort of like at the drive through car wash? What sort of product would you use? I have my doubt's that this would be very effective, but I know if it's possible someone on MOL will know! Thanks!

Well, I never expected to get zero responses! I guess that confirms my initial thought that this is not possible (or very boring?)

Yeah, don't bother trying to apply wax with a pressure washer. Stick with bonnet/ pad applicators.

I doubt it's possible. If it was, it would be something very temporary, lasting only a week or less.

I like to apply paste waxes with my hands rather than using an applicator.

I think your first post was on a Sunday and now it's Monday and that means catch-up day for me...

Like the other's posted, stick with applying wax by hand or with a polishing machine of some type.

If you are looking for a wax you can spray on and get the car waxed quickly, check out Ultimate Quik Wax.

Good point Mike! I don't expect you to be at the computer 7 days a week! You need that day of rest too!

Excellent suggestion! Don't ask me why I didn't think of that.

The stuff at the car wash is fake and garbage. I hope you never actually go through one of those anyway!

Apply using a Foam Applicator for best/even results

For a wax booster that can be done quickly, Use Ultimate Quik Wax or NXT Spray Wax

Its probably the same wax you buy in the wash and wax concentrate at the parts store. Hardly worth it.
