  • Last Touch.

Hey guys, For the first time today I used last touch detail spray after wash to remove any remaining water spots. I did use it in a shaded area paint cool to the touch I noticed about 1 hour latter a lot of dust all over the vehicle from the detail spray is that a normal thing after using last touch detail spray? Or did I do something wrong? I did pull the car back out in the sun after I was done.

    Thanks,
    Daniel

Well the dust certainly was not from the Last Touch. It was most likely just a lot of dust from the surrounding environment. LT is great QD that shouldn't give you any sort of problems like that when taking off water spots.

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

    I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
    Remove swirls my friends.

It could of been dust from outside but the dust was more like a polish residue. Its strange because I never had that happen before so much dust all over the car less then 1 hour after washing!

Yeah LT definitely doesn't leave a dust residue like a polish, nor have I ever used any QD that does. Maybe it was just a dusty windy day. Heck try this, get a clean microfiber and LT, bring your car inside the garage and QD the dust off of it, then you have your dust problem taken care of.

Sounds like the towel may have left something behind. I use LT almost daily (go through gallons of this stuff) and have never heard of that, or seen that.

It's also possible you maybe didn't wipe it totally dry, and the wind blew dust onto the wet spot and it stuck? That might be a long shot, though.

Definitely not the LT. I've used some dust magnet products before and LT is not one of them.

It probably was dusty/ since it is spring time now Pollen.
My truck will sit outside for 15 minutes, and there will be a pollen storm!!
