who here puts dressing on your exterior black vinyl before you wax to prevent white marks from the wax? who here does it the opposite way, wax then dressing on your vinyl, and why?

I just wax right over the top of it
j/k, I tape off trim to avoid any wax coming in contact with the trim. Then dress the trim after.2008 Meguiar's Batmobile Team

Sometimes I tape off my trim to avoid this and then other times I just tell myself to be careful,
I put one coat on before and another coat on after, and remove excess product with a microfiber.
It has worked for me fine, plus i never miss a spot since I go over it twice.Nick
