  • 1 pad per product

i understand that you should allow for one pad per product but once your pads are cleaned for the next time you go to do a detail job can you use your pad for different products or do you still risk contamination with any residual product still existing in the pad, talking about the G-110 pads here gents, thxs for your time all

Once they are washed, they should be fine for other products.

      oh no!
I would never use a protectant pad for a wax pad
I buy new ones when they get to dirty, never washed them

If i use one pad for say M80, then at the end of the detail wash it and let it dry, the next time I use that particular pad it may be M105, or M82. Never had a problem using 1 pad for different products, once it was properly cleaned.

Are all of you saying after you washed the pads talking in reference to the 2.0 pads or to the old ones?

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

          I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
          Remove swirls my friends.

i have mostly LC pads, with a few excel detailing 4" pads. I just got two 2.0 pads when I ordered both 105&205, have not used them yet.

If you wash the pads,I really do not see the problem. Now on the older pads that a person was not suppose to wash. Yes a dedicated pad per product.
