Re: ClearlyCoated's Car Care Crash Cart (Mini-Detail Rig)

Thanks for doing the test! Good to know the handle holds up nice and strong. If I remember correctly when looking at the model in the store, the two big yellow flap tabs (pictured in the first photo) on the front of the tool box didn't lock into place very assuringly (I could open the tabs with a weak flick of the pinky finger), leading me to believe that those two tabs would pop open/loose while the car is in motion if one was going over bumps in the road. Probably me just being paranoid though! How are the yellow tabs on the front of your unit? Definitely can't beat the $22 :thumb:.

You're right, I can open the latches with a flick of my finger, but I think that must be the design. Other than that, the latches stayed fastened until intentionally opened.

Nice Setup! You could fit two of those in your trunk if you moved the other stuff into the second carrier, plus you could probably fit your DA in there too!

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

        I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
        Remove swirls my friends.

            Latch issue resolved!

This was so simple, even I missed it and I own the thing. Did any one else catch the lock holes?

            Problem solved!

And then I even found one more utility for this handy cart!

Good call on the lock holes; I didn't catch those . Looks like that'd solve the thing I was concerned about (big yellow friction latchtabs not locking into place firmly as I'd like)! WallyWorld, here I come...

Nice. I would think you need a lot more microfiber.

                        Great idea!

Now...just in case you need a bit more storage space, you can add one of these to go along with it...

Might not look like much, but they have served me well.

You could hold a lot of towels in that tool chest...not to mention the other stuff.

I started this thread back in May and the cart is still in use, but I now carry my pads and towels separately in the Megs duffel bag I received with my ADS order, and I added a 32 oz bottle of M83 to the cart to go along with my M80, as well as my M105/205 bottle set.
