I roll my ride through the local car wash weekly... otherwise it would stay dirty most of the time. I make sure they never prewash or spray any harsh wheel cleaners on my polished alum custom Boyd Coddington wheels. THOSE I wash myself. I don't pay for them to clean the wheels so it's usually not an issue, but I stand there & watch just in case. Well a few of the guys there are really fond of my woody Roadmaster wagon w/the Boyds & recently one of 'em thought he'd do me a favor. Before I could stop him, he picked up a spray bottle of their metal eating, "we don't even need to brush this stuff off for it to work", fire-breathing wheel cleaner & started to spray one. Before I yelled, he got enough of it to leave a milky looking spotting all over that one wheel which won't come off w/a regular soap & water scrubbing.
So now what do I have to do to get this back to new?
