  • Microfiber pad

I saw on the labels and on the forum that most of the products said to use a foam applicator pad. I could not find any so I bought microfiber pads. I will be using these pads to apply paint cleaner (swirlX). Will this be ok?

It should be fine. Just be careful around the edges of the pad, and be careful with threading that might scratch too.

Microfiber will probably be more aggressive than the foam pad, though. Do test spots and make sure it isn't harming the paint before doing the entire car.

I used the Meguiar's Even-Coat Applicator Pad with ScratchX and it worked fine.
