MOL group discount for Dr. Color Chip

Earlier today I fired off an e-mail to Dr. ColorChip asking for a discount code for members of this forum. Dr. Color Chip is a DIY Custom Automotive touch-up paint kit system that has been getting some good reviews here (Rock chips repair?) and on autotopia.org (Dr. Colorchip Repaired Z4).

I received a reply from Dan McCool of Dr. Colorchip Corp. offering a group discount for MOL as long as we present a minimum of 10 interested members.

On group buys of ten or more kits we can offer a 10% discount. Let us know what the number of kits would be and we will set up a group buy discount for you. Thank you.

Great to hear about the group buy! We will set up a 10% discount code for your forum. The code will be good thru next Friday, May 8th. The promo code will be “CARCRAZY”. This code will need to be typed in on the order page where it asks for the “promo #”. We will get this code activated later today.

Just let those individuals who have already expressed an interest in ordering to go ahead and place the order on our website and we will ship the kits out within 2 business days of receipt. We ship from Florida and delivery can take anywhere from 3-6 days from the date of shipment depending on where the package is being delivered. Thank you.

Prices from $39 for the basic kit. $49 for the intermediate kit, and $59 for the advanced kit. Check out the Dr. ColorChip website for more detail.

I was looking at these as well.

I did notice, however, that the homepage of the website advertises 10% off with 2 or more kits, so if you're having trouble getting 10 guys together you may not need to.

I guess also if you have 2 different colour cars you're buying 2 kits anyway?

I just got 2 kits, but need at least one more, I'll wait to see if get the group buy, basic kit kit will take care of most chips/scratches, with plenty left over for the next few times.

I'd order 2 kits. I've checked out their website and based on Mike's testimony of their results - it looks like the best option on the market to me.

No, you still buy the kits directly from Dr. ColorChip. They want to see evidence of interest to buy 10 kits or more from our forum before they issue a promo code. I will e-mail the link to this thread to them today.
