  • Waste of a day.

I can't wait for my new garage to be finished so that I can wash and wax my truck in there, instead of in the driveway. I spent 5 hours washing, drying, polishing chrome, putting dressing on my tires, tonneau cover and plastics, only to get all done and see tree sap and pollen all over my newly clean truck. What a waste of a day.

If it makes ya feel any better, I washed my truck yesterday and it rained today.

Look at it in this way. Now you have an excuse to detail it again

Yeah that can be frustrating but hey, even with that stuff on the truck, I'm sure it still looks great compared to if you hadn't done all that.

My justification (to myself): at least the paint is clean when the rain hits it.

Thats how I look at it!! Nothing like watching rain run off a freshly detailed truck!!
