  • compound dried out

What can be used to thin rubbing compound that has dried out in the squeeze bottle? I have an almost full container of 49 that I left open in storage and want to try to get it liquid again. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

It's probably best just to purchase new product at this point.

Call customer service I have a feeling you may be out of luck and the bottle is ruined

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

      I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
      Remove swirls my friends.

Oh well. I usually unscrew the lid & put plastic wrap on the bottle before I put the cap back on, but was in a hurry. My loss, thought I'd give rejuvenation a try before I bought a new bottle. Thanks anyway.
