  • High Tech Yellow on light colors

I have a tuo-tone paint job - Concept Black and Blue Ice Metallic (Silver with a blue tint) . The painter recommended High Tech Yellow but I read on hear that High Tech Yellow could darken and yellow lighter colors. So does this mean I should use two different waxes?

    Thanks for the help

The darkening effect is a good thing, it's not changing the color of your paint physically, it's creating the most clear results possible to see the true color.

M26 has been around for approximately 30 years and has a very strong and loyal following, as long as the paint you're applying this to is in excellent condition, that is new or like new condition, then you'll love this wax.

You want to shake the bottle well before use, then apply a thin coating and let it fully dry before removing using a premium quality microfiber polishing cloth.

Darkening in this sense means making the paint look deeper and have more depth.

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

      I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
      Remove swirls my friends.

Hey Mike... I've got a question for you... related to the question of the OP (a question I once asked as well).

Let me ask it in a different way...

Do you think NXT 2, GC Wax, M16, M26 & M21 would all look the same on a white or silver car or would there be some sublte differences?

So, if you answer "they'd all look the same", wouldn't it be worth going with NXT or M21, on account of greater durability (sealant vs. wax)?

If you answer, "there would be some difference", what would be YOUR choice, from a purely esthetic perspective?
