    Re: Diamond Plate

I would like to say publicly how much HELP Kevin Brown Was to me. It seemed like he took a lot of time finding products that would be right for me, and typing up what I need to do and expect.
I used Eagle One Mag Etching.....
    I worked out great.
I have only done a small amount of the diamond plating, due to my low budget right now.

I found this system, and it pretty much goes along the same lines as paint renewal. The one thing with metal we don't have to worry about is burn through. The system isn't cheap and I would have a hard time doing the work on the engine as it's a first out rig, but one day I may make the plunge and ask my Captain to give me the time during a couple of shifts to see what I can acomplish.

Here is a link to the system. If it gets taken down because I can't link, PM me and I will give it to you. Stay safe you guys.

check out my thread... might be a little more consuming but the results are great:

eastwood sells metal compounds that are great, and you can get a buffing wheel with an adapter for a drill for under $10 at home depot...

Carfire, I have read a lot about how knowledgable and upstanding of a guy Kevin Brown is. That is great news he showed you a positive results route. Hopefully you will have some pics to share and may give a fellow diamond plate shiner a tip or two.
