Rear plastic on 99 monte carlo

I have a 99 monte carlo which has the dark plastic covering on the rear of the trunk lid. I see that the megs plastic products always refer to clear plastics. Would they also work to remove scratches and shine up this solid plastic, or is there something better to use. thanks for the help

Can you post a photo of the plastic you are referring to?

I have had great success using PlastX on all kinds of plastic surfaces. If the plastic is smooth, then PlastX should work fine. Just make sure to do a test spot first.
