    Hello i just wanted to know if this vacum was a good vacum for cleaning carpets, as in general vacuming, and removing some water out the carpet.

    not sure the vac your talking about, the ling just took me to the lowes page not a vac?

      I think he messed up the link, and by default if the Lowes server can't find that page it sends you to the home page . I'm looking for a new vac for the cars as well.

        I have this shop vac from Sears and it has been great, left it outside a couple of times and it still runs like a champ. It works great to extract water from seats, carpets and it has a 130mph wind when using it as a leaf blower and it also works great to knock water loose on your car (think lugnut holes). I have a nozzle not on the Sears website, but it's a car nozzle and they have a car accessorie kit for 20 bucks. I think I paid 40 bucks for mine as they show here.
