  • Just paint what needs to or whole car??

Hi! I have a 2003 Jetta GLI and I have put a body kit on. I need to paint the front bumber and back bumper as well as the hood, right side fender and a back part near the back window, as well as one of the mirror covers and the front grill. Now my question is..... I have alot to paint... should i just get the whole car done? the paint is not to bad.. one chip on the drivers door. But i want my car to be near perfect. Should i paint only what needs it or the whole car?

I would go ahead and paint the whole car. My thinking is this. By painting the entire car, you should have a even match color wise. You would not have to play around with the chip to try and match it.

    Good luck.

I would take it to a couple paint shops and get their opinion.
If you want it to look perfect you had better make sure they can match the paint.
Otherwise ....probably best to re-paint the whole car.
      Good luck.
