    I need some advice....

    I have a 2003 black Cadillac Deville, controlling the swirl marks and light scratches is a very tough task, I used swirlx one time in the past when I first purchased the vehicle used.. The results were pretty impressive, well this time around I used the swirlx again and wasn't to happy with the results, so I contacted Meguires to see what they recommended and I was told to try the Ultimate Compound...

    After cleaning/claying,swirlx ultimate compound it seems like the car is worse! A lot of swirl marks and light scratches... Could this be possible? Any recommendations on how I should fix it would be appreciated.. I used microfiber pads, and towels for everything.....

    First of all, I edited out a lot of weird code from your post. I am not sure what you were trying to do, but keep in mind new users need 30 posts before they can post any click-able links.

    As for your issue, can you post pictures of the issues themself?

    It is possible that the product, a towel, or improper technique could have worsened the condition of the paint, but without pictures it is very hard to tell if that is the case or not.

      Is this being done by hand, DA, Flex? What pads or applicators are being used? What are the polishing techniques being used (number of passes, speed, pressure, etc)?
