i'm new to detailing and i have type 2 water spots. i've used scratch-x 2.0 on it twice already and it looks a lot better the more i use it. now, instead of being able to see it under regular light you can't, but under direct bright sunlight you can and they look more like black circles (car is black). should i keep on going? can i over do it with scratch-x 2.0?

Re: am i getting somewhere or is this the end of the road?
We always say use the least aggressive method first and you are doing that. That being said put some "passion behind the pad" and yes you can do it again. Sometimes it may take 2 3 or 4 applications to remove a defect. Either that or try something else like new Ultimate Compound. But you are getting there, try it again and let us know how it goes.

i think i got it all off. is there a way to be sure, like using a certain type of light or method? just curious, but i think i'm fine with the way it is if you can't see it with the naked eye, if there is any water spots left
