  • White Plastic Piece Yellowed

I have a 1990 Mustang Limited Edition Convertible. These cars have Oxford White interiors. I have removed the end cap from the console and installed a console armrest. The white end cap has been stored in a plastic bag. I took it out the other day, and found that the top of the end cap has yellowed. I tried #40 with no change. Do you think #39 would make a difference, or will I have to paint this piece.

    Thanks.

If the plastic is actually discolored, it will likely need painted.

Thanks for the reply. That's about what I thought. It's funny though, as the sides of the piece are still white. Only the top is yellowed.

Any chance you could get a picture? It might help...

I'm still in the "film age" so it would be a long time before I could post a picture. Not much to see really...it's a white console piece with the top turned a yellowish hue.

          Thanks.
