    Any adventurous people on here??

    Well,

    I decided to purchase some Dodo Purple Haze Soft Wax tonight. This stuff's not cheap, but a lot of people rave about it. Anyway, I'm always willing to try new things, and see how they compare to what I currently have. I still love my Meg's NXT 2.0, but I will try to do a side by side comparison of the NXT 2.0 and the Dodo.

    Just out of curiosity, has anyone used or knows of anyone that has used the Dodo line? If so, what were your/their thoughts/impressions of this stuff?

    Haven't used it, but I have read several reviews that say the durability is lacking...under a month. Considering the price, and knowing that wax rarely makes a noteworthy amount of difference from one wax to the next in terms of looks on a clear coat (not always, but usually), I just couldn't justify the price myself.

    I will be curious to see what you find. At the very least I hear it is pretty easy to work with.

            After reading the heading "Any adventurous people on here??" I didn't expect the topic to be what it was. I was thinking, "Yeah, I've jumped out of a perfectly good airplane 12 times. That's pretty adventurous."

            Well, I guess it isn't for the OP. Oh well.

              I got a 30ml sampe of it for $13.99 from Detailed Image. Basically, I think it's over priced, but I'm just curious how it performs compared to the NXT 2.0. I have a little extra money to play around with, so I thought I'd give it a shot. If nothing else, it will give me a month worth of durability Plus, I enjoy waxing my car, so what the hell!

                Dodo Juice is very popular in England, where their products are competively priced. Their premium wax, Supernatural, gets consistently good reviews, except from our Rasky, who can figure out how to apply the stuff properly.

                  Exactly! I was ready to dig out my dive equipment for a trip to the Caribbean for some underwater fun.

                    The more I use NTX 2.0, the less impressed I am with it. It just doesn't seem to have the durability I was hoping for. I won a 30ml pot of Dodo Juice Blue Velvet from Autogeek.com. I haven't used it yet however.

                      When I can get SN to work it does look very good, but still not worth the price tag.

                        I still love my Gold Class.......for some reason I am getting kind of cloudy results with NXT in bright sun when i am trying to take pictures...Waiting on my G110 right now from ADS.. :>)) gonna play around with my 07 accord before i use it on my 09 Altime.

                          Maybe test it against M26 also because the Dodo products are going to be more similar to a product like M26 which contains some Carnauba versus NXT which is all synthetic.

                          They do have very interesting packaging which works well for them.
