  • Need to know ASAP!

Well this weekend the car has to go away no matter what so I have to work around work and cleaning it.

Last week I layed down the #20 but as I pulled it out it just started to pur rain like crazy. Will I have to lay down another coat? or can I just lay down the #26 and it's ready to be put away?

Like will the durability still be strong? because I don't want it to oxidize again.

Did you leave the car in the rain right after apply #20? I am sure #20 did not wash away, but may have been compromised. To insure the best protection my plan would be to apply another coat of #20 on Saturaday then on Sunday put down the #26.

I would think you can just put on your next coat. I would use a quick detailer first if any dust is on the surface.

Yeah it sat in the rain right after the #20 was applied, and hasn't been washed during the whole week at all!

Today would be the first day it's been washed since the #20 has been layed down..

so I should just put on #26?

Honestly, applying a coat of wax doesn't take much time so to be safe I'd say put on two coats.

            Hey,

I would suggest re-washing the car and applying another coat of #20. Wait overnight and then apply the #26.

If the car sat out in the rain right after you applied the #20, the "setting-up" process may have been interfered with. It would be better to be safe than sorry; I would apply another coat before storage.
