I mentioned in another thread that I went to Meguiars display pavilion at the Del Mar Nationals Saturday and couldn't resist the fantastic G110 package Meguiars put together for sale at the show. A $300 value sold for $199 tax free.
This is the kit for $199. Meguiars offered another kit with consumer line products, but I chose this one since I already have most of the consumer stuff
I did a little wheeling and dealing with the lineup. The guy selling me the kit told me they were out of Swirl Remover 2.0 and asked if he could substitute a bottle of SwirlX. I sensed an opening and asked him for a bottle of Ultimate Compound instead. No problem. I also swapped the cheap polyester wash mitt for the microfiber one in the pics
I also successfully traded out the 6.5 inch polishing and finishing pads for the new 7" finishing and cutting pads. Unfortunately I could not swap out the 6.5" polishing pad boxed with the DA, but I feel that I did OK
And even though I didn't go through ADS, I still got a Meguiars bag!
I also bought a few extra items not included in the kit.
And yes, I rounded out my day by visiting the Mothers pavilion and buying a wash mitt. Why? Because unless I missed it despite extensive searching, Megs doesn't offer a lambswool mitt. The good folks at Mothers also threw in a sampler of their SynWax. Not sure what it is, but it probably approximates NXT?
