Best (Fav.) Products

I have always been into keeping a clean car but I have just recently been introduced to the idea that not all products are the same. What are some quality products (while thinking of price to) that I should definitely get and/or look into. My SUV is black with tan and black interrior (if it matters).

Wheels (they will always suffer from heavy break dust)
Tires
Plastic Trim on outside
Soap
Clay
Wax
Leather Seats
Dash/console/steering wheel all that stuff)
Windows (and I've read that not many people on here use RainX, any reason?)
Air freshner - I read that meguiars doesnt make one, but I love the new car smell (just dont want the Xmas trees in my car anymore)

Thats all I could think of right now. If there are other areas that I left out, please toss them in!

Our Honda Pilot is black with a tan leather and vinyl interior, check out page 3 of this thread...

I use all of the products Mike suggested. I do like the Gold Class car wash better and I always use a sealant such as M21 or NXT 2.0 on the wheels. It makes the brake dust easier to clean up when washing. In between washes I use Quik Wheel detailer. Probably the industries most underrated product!

Wheels - I think any of the wheel cleaner in the market will work (leave it on for 30sec, then use a soft bristle brush to agitate the solution and then use a sponge with the car soap to make sure your wheels get real clean)

Tires - Gold Class Endurane High Gloss Tire Gel

Plastic Trim - Gold Class Trim Detailer

Soap - Gold Class Shampoo & Conditioner / NXT

Clay - The Smooth Surface Clay Kit (you get a clay, Quik Detailer, Microfibre n sample
cleaner/wax)

Wax - Personal Preference either NXT 2.0 or Gold Class

Leather Seats - Gold Class Rich Leather Cleaner and Conditioner

Dash/console/steering - Quik Interior Detailer

Windows - NXT Generation Glass Cleaner, then I use the Ultimate Quik Detailer on Windows so that water sheets off

Air freshner - I usually use the peel of a couple of oranges or other types of fruits.

and another one is important

Maintanance: - Ultimate Quik Detailer / Ultimate Quik Wax (use it after washing the car to maintain the wax look)

Accessories: Grit Guard, Wash mitt, Megs Water Magnet, supreme shine Microfibre towels

those are probably the most favoured quality products on a budget in my opinion :]..

For everything you listed this is my personal preference:

wheels-clean with Hot Rims Aluminum Wheel Cleaner, Last Touch Spray Detailer to maintain.

tires- clean with All Purpose Cleaner, dress with Hot Shine High Gloss Tire Gel.

exterior trim- Gold Class Trim Detailer or #40 - Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner.

Car Wash Soap- Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo & Conditioner.

Clay- Smooth Surface Clay Kit with Last Touch Spray Detailer as clay lube.

Wax: NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0 or #21 - Synthetic Sealant 2.0

Leather seats- Gold Class Rich Leather Spray

Interior protectant- Natural Shine Vinyl & Rubber Protectant or Supreme Shine Protectant and maintain with Quik Interior Detailer

Windows: NXT Generation Glass Cleaner followed by Ultimate Quik Wax

Chrome: Hot Rims Chrome Polish

Spray detailer: Last Touch Spray Detailer

carpet and upholstey: Quik Out Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner
