    Re: dull paint job help

    I concur, Mark
But I don't think there that good.
Pics are hard to discern what's going on

      Re: dull paint job help

OP- makes sense now that I see it is a repaint.

Mario- I meant that in the sense that wetsanding isn't going to be a cure-all for dull paint. You can't just wetsand and have glossy paint. Your post confuses me a bit though. You say polishing the paint is wet-sanding it? I'd hate to disagree with someone who has more experience than I, but to people new to the detailing scene, I could see that statement causing some problems. "Let me polish my car....with 2000 grit." Though I mean, paint can be glossy with no wetsanding or wax...

Polishing is the part ware your flattening the paint, either wet sanding or buffing.
Waxing a car with polish is not polishing a car
Polish /Wax is the top coat that give a shinny protective gloss that reveals your hard work on the actual paint/clear coat with an amazing reflection (Nick)
If you put wax on a car in the junk yard it's not going to reflect anything but all the imperfections in the paint.
