After reading all the threads and watching numerous videos I decided to clay my 2006 Accord Coupe. I wash/dry my car, carefully read all the instructions and watch the YouTube clay video for a second time, then I get to work.
So I'm working away and wondering why this is so hard, the clay is very sticky and I can't get it moving on the paint. Then I remember the spray that came with the Kit that's sitting in my trunk. DUMB!
Any way, I meticulously clayed the car, wiping as I go. Very easy, no sweat job, took about 45 minutes. The paint came out absolutely smooth as glass (my paint was already in excellent shape but there was a difference after the clay).
Then I put on a coat of Cleaner Wax that came with the kit. Cleaner Wax is a very nice product because it can remove tiny little specs of road grime/tar easily, stuff you can't even see unless you really get down and inspect very closely. It also gives a nice shine and my car looks great.
I might throw on a coat of NXT next time I wash the car but I think it would be hard to improve on the way it looks now. Anybody thinking about doing their car should just start from the begining and do the clay. It is too simple and highly recommended.
