someone please help! going over my 1993 sedan deville, i noticed what seems to me a really bad crack maybe 3.5 inches long on the fender. is there something i can use to get this fixed or would it be easier to just buy a good used one?

Has it every been repaired?
Could be that it was repaired and it has some kind of body filler and that is why the paint cracked because under is the filler has cracked.
I've seen this before, for you do know, take it to a shop and see if they have some paint gauge meter, if you can't have a reading then you may have a filler there.

Another way to tell if it has body filler is to use a magnet. If the magnet sticks to the rest of the fender and not the area that is cracked, then the cracked area is filler.
