ok I finally have a DA on the way from ADS.The way I understand I need yellow pads and black.Are these the only ones I would need?Can anyone recommend a good package of pads that doesn't have pads I'll never use?Thanks in advance guys.

dont really know much about the DA, still haven't bought one yet,

Can't invest the time to stay up on all the packages and deals on detailing supply websites but generally speaking more polishing pads is better than one.
Like Matt said, a case or 6 polishing pads is a great way to start out machine polishing that way you have plenty on hand and can tackle anything that comes your way.
One or two finishing pads for applying finishing waxes and if you want to remove wax by machine you always want to use a stiff pad and that would be a cutting pad.
Wiping the wax off by hand is also just as easy.
