Has anyone ever had any experience with the OXO car wash brushes? Or any similar brushes? My family owns large SUV’s and it is a nightmare to clean them with a wash mitt. Someone recommended trying one of these brush and I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts or experience with them. One of these brushes can be viewed at http://www.autopia-carcare.com/oxo-17005.html

I've seen them on the Autopia store, but I haven't tried them myself.

Thanks for the reply Mike. I am finding the same answer on many of the forums. Looks like my sisters passat gets to be a tester car.

I use a chenille wash mitt on a plastic, ahh heck look at this link.Griot's garage

I don't use this one yet. The one I have is from Target. The chenille sheds alot a first but after a few washes the shedding cuts down. I like this option more than a brush against the paint.

Check this one out too. RV wash stick

        Good luck.

Damn. I wish I'd of thought to find one of those when I had my Tahoe. Washing the roof on that thing was a PITA.

Those look like they could be quite useful. Might have to get one for the trucks and SUVs I detail!

              ~One mans opinion / observations~

For larger vehicles and/or SUVs I usually use a boars hairbrush with a long (40”) handle, there is a hose connection and a on/off valve for rinsing and washing (Groit’s Garage PN 10220 approx $80)

              ~Hope this helps~
