California Duster-works in other states too...

So I was cruising PCH this weekend on my way to the Huntington Beach Car Show when this happened

A sand storm! All that "white" is sand not overcast!
Wind got up to 70mph in some places

So I ran back to South OC asap!

Here's my car before...



and after...



So when I got home I broke out my Big RV Ca Duster.


Here's the side by side...






I never see any additional scratches from using the CD.
I've used them for a long time, over 25 years. I love them!

I'd be so scared to touch a car covered with sand, I would have to hose it off!

Not many people on here like the dusters Unless you are barely touching the paint.

Well the duster picks up the "dust"
I twirl it to remove loose dust
I don't see any new scratches, it's not rubbing dust into the paint
Plus that is what wax is for
There is a layer of wax between the dust and paint
The CD "glides" over. I'm not rubbing it into the car.
I'm not into washing my car every two days.
Dusting it takes off the layer of "dust"
It's not making any scratches
also Meg's does sell dusters and a waterless car wash system that uses a duster

I use it several times a week between washes and love the results. Never had a problem with them at all.

You have Sand Storms and we Have Snow Storms!!
With Snow Storms we get SALT!!!
Boy do I love SALT!!
It Makes cars look way better!! cough cough

Not to be mean, but it looks like in the 7th picture there are some swirls on the hood?.?.?.?.

All I can say is .

I also have used a California Duster for years. Mario, Would you agree with me in saying this. "With the proper technique" You can safely use the C D and not worry about doing harm to your paint.

Just saw that
The hood was just replaced and painted.
This car was in an accident a few months ago
I'm still waiting for them to finish the job
This car was perfect before the shop
they messed up the whole thing and I'm just waiting patiently to bring it back.
Good eye, I was hoping no one noticed.
That's why I said "no NEW scratches in my paint"

I hate dust...and sometimes I used the duster but I us it lightly and do not put any pressure but if its really bad then I'll just wash my car.
