  • How much Product?

I’m having a “weird” time. I am using LC pads with Meg's UC. When I used it at the MOG I was using their pads. Well now that I am using my stuff, the UC seems to break down faster and powder up, but only on the edge of the pad. The center of the pad holds a lot more product, so I've been applying product to just the outside of the pad. I guess I am trying to ask about the powder. Is it ok that it starts powdering up? I don't seem to get very much play time before it powders up. I tried searching, but I've never been good at it. Is there an article that has already covered this topic? I am still getting good results, I just feel like I am wasting product. For me to get the best results I would need like 3 or 4 passes, and at this rate I feel like I won’t be able to get done with My dads car with this bottle… Something doesn’t seem right.

Note: I was using an LC Orange, and White Pad.

    Thanks guys.

Hang tight, hopefully others chime in on the LC pads....

I have no experience with them

Are you using a rotary, or a DA? My experience with UC is that it has a fairly long working time, and certainly doesn't have issues drying up.

If you are getting powder you are likely using way too much product, or working it too long.
