Hard plastic
the side mirrors on my sunfire look a little sun faded.....they are black hard plastic i put some 303 on it today......would it be best to put nxt on it?

I would suggest this product,
Gold Class Trim Detailer works pretty well on flat black paint, even though it's not specifically made for this surface.
Apply with a piece of terry cloth towel and work it in well, perhaps a couple of applications. Allow the last coat to penetrate for a few minutes and then remove any excess with a microfiber polishing cloth a cotton towel.
