  • Swirlx vs Fine, Medium & Heavy Cleaner

    Hello Everyone.

Can you compare SwirlX with Fine, Medium and Heavy Cut Cleaner?
Where would you place SwirlX in terms of abrasiveness?
    (I mean in what order)

Well, maybe I am comparing apple vs pears.

    Thanks very much in advance.

I believe that Medium Cut Cleaner (M01) and Heavy Cut Cleaner (M04) are formulated exclusively for rotary use. M02, on the other hand, may be applied by rotary, D/A, or hand (I believe). SwirlX is formulated for application by hand and D/A but not rotary.

      M01 has a cut of 7; M02, 5; M04, 8. SwirlX, depending on how it is applied, has a cut (I think) of 6-7.

if you are working by hand and looking for the best product to remove swirls then SwirlX would be a great choice. Its hard to beat the SMA Technology in SwirlX and the other new swirl and scratch removers.

Also by hand, Ultimate Compound is a great product, but it's a lot more aggressive.

My advise is to cruise through the show offs or extreme make overs or....search the car your working on and see what others are using. That way you don't buy stuff you may not need.

I have a couple of products that I never used except for once.....

Thank you, I guess I am going to get a bottle of SwirlX and give it a shot.

I examined my car carefully and determined that SwirlX will be the first product to use against swirls.

By the way, your chevy is awsome. My dad had one of those.

              Thanks!
