I got ssr1 polish all over the trim and rubbers parts on my car. I was wonder what to use to take it out becuase i have washed my car a number of times but its still there unless i really rub it off with my figure.
Re: how do I remove dry polish from rubber and trim
I saturate a portion of a microfiber towel and use M40 as that's what I use for my outside trim....OR, Gold Class Trim Detailer, depending on mood I'm in for dressing the trim.

Re: how do I remove dry polish from rubber and trim
I heard that rubbing alcohol can also be used. Another thing you might try is to "dress" the trim prior to waxing so in case you do get some on the trim, you can wipe it off very easily.
Re: how do I remove dry polish from rubber and trim
I usually used the method bsibold recommends (dressing it 1st) but i think I will go out and get a bottle of alcohol as well (isopropyl alcohol, right?).
My question is, what's the best way to remove polish splatters off paintwork, especially when the car has had time to sit in the hot sun?

You can remove polish and waxresidue with peanutbutter !
Apply it and rub it in ,rinse it off and all stains will be gone !
Its a bit of a messy job but it works
