  • DACP an PC on black

Hi,what would be best to follow up DACP #83 on a black car. I got slight hazing or micro maring. Which would work better 82,81,80, or 9 ? im going to use step2 pure polish last.

#80 Speed Glaze is a good follow up. You can probably go straight from #80 to your wax or sealant.

Definitely go with the #80 Speed Glaze on the W-8006 foam polishing pad, 4.0 to 5.0 speed setting.

Won't it also be a good idea to use #82 since he's using a pure polish afterwards?

Depends on how hard his paint is, if the #83 left micro-marring, then he'll need a finer polish to remove this, but a finer polish with enough bite to abrade the paint enough to remove the micro-marring and restore the gloss. Often times the #9 or the #82 will work with the rotary buffer, but because the G-100 doesn't offer the same level of polishing power as a rotary buffer, the #9 and/or the #82 are just to gentle. (They are really quite gentle polishes, very light polishing ability).

Either the orange cutting pad or the green polishing pad.

                Following Meguiar's philosophy of,

Always use the least aggressive product to get the job done"

You would start with the green pad and if that's not working, then try the orange pad.
