  • Today's Haul...

So, I found this little discount / overstock store in town and decided to pay them a visit to see what they had from Meguiars since I noticed they had some Megs items listed on their eBay store. Well, I hit the jackpot. Here is what I brought home and the prices of each item:

5 Meguiars Gold Class Terry Towels (satin edges) - $2/ea
3 Meguiars Gold Class Glass Cleaning Towels (satin edges) - $2/ea
    1 Gallon of M40 - $15
1 Meguiars Mild Detailing Clay (blue clay) - $10
    1 tin of M26 - $5
1 bottle of Medallion Paint Cleaner - $5
    2 W64 Rotary Backing Plates - $4/ea
    3 W8006 SoftBuff Pads - $5/ea
    1 Meguiars Wet Sanding Block - $2
1 Meguiars 2000 Grit Sanding Block (small, never seen one before - had various grits) - $3

Other goodies I saw, but didn't buy:
    M09 - Gallon
    M82 - Gallon
    Gold Class Suede drying towel
M26 tins - little banged up, 2 different styles.
    M00 (16 oz.)
    M05 (16 oz.)
    M34 (16 oz.)
    Another Megs Medallion Paint product
    Hot Rims Wheel Cleaner
Various Eagle One and Mothers products.

Everything was obviously stored in a warehouse for a long time and the towels were kinda dusty. I figured they were worth a shot and they are currently being washed as I type this.

    Overall, a very nice find

      Should be fine to use.

The other Medallion product was the Medallion Paint Protectant, which was out before Nxt 1.0. It was very well liked.

Get the Suede drying towel. That is by far my favorite drying device of all time now that I know how to use it.

I prefer it over the waffle weave for my main drying tool because it is so thin it is EASY to wring out. I then follow up with the waffle weave anywhere that there are major puddles or draining spots. Combo is very quick and super easy.

They had 2 of them, I think around $3 each? I might have to make another trip and pickup a couple extra towels.

I really don't know if this was it or not...the bottle didn't look anything like the Medallion Paint Cleaner (black with green and gold label). A quick Google search returns the Medallion Paint Protectant has a black bottle with the red label.

When I go back, I'll get the name and maybe a photo. It was $10 per bottle, which seemed high...especially given the other low prices. The gallon of M40 blew me away...$15!!

Grab both. They are normally $10~. I was NEVER a fan of chamois, and thus I waited a long time to try the suede drying towel, but once I did, man, was I glad.

It's super smooth and soft, and really does a fantastic job of leaving very little water behind. the icing on the top is how easily you can wring it out and it's like starting with a fresh one. Thicker towels are a chore to wring out by hand IMO.

                GET THE DRYING TOWELS.

Yeah, You can't pass up that deal. Those are amazing and normally about 10 dollars each... I also prefer them over Waffles.
