After reading some of the forum's information concerning wheel detailing, I am confused about the ability to use Meguiar's Hot Rims "ALL WHEEL" Cleaner on my factory polished aluminum-clear coated wheels. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Clear-Coated Wheels
As long as you are 100% sure they are clear coated, then Hot Rims All Wheel Cleaner will be just fine.
If there is any doubt in your mind they are NOT clear coated, then Hot Rims Aluminum Wheel Cleaner is the way to go for sure.

Re: Clear-Coated Wheels
All Wheel might be safe for your wheels, but think of other components like your brake components. I certainly don't want those changing color, also even your lug nuts.
I go with the alunimum wheel cleaner and brush as that is very gentle. I saw the all wheel strong one start to turn a caliper color on one of my cars.

Re: Clear-Coated Wheels
I always use some type of cleaner spray on wheels. Then I follow with a quick wash using a sponge and regular car soap. The spray helps a lot getting rid of heavy dirt and grime. I always carry with me:
all wheel cleaner (used most of the times)
wheel brightener (only when I am sure it's safe to use it)
