  • Classes and Vapor Steamers

    Hi guys

    I have 2 questions:

    1. Does Meguiar's provide car detailing classes in D.C. metro area?

    2. Has anybody from our community used vapor steamers for exterior/interior detailing? What are the advantages and disadvantages? Which brands of vapor steamers are trusted among car detailers?

    Thanks in advance.

    Re: Classes and Vapor Steamers

I've used vapor steamers and I loved it.

It's a great tool for interiors, you can do the job much faster without so many tools, that thing will just rip the grime out from crevices that people normally can't reach. Also on crack on the exterior you can just blow away even wax residue without any problems. On carpets you can leave it as new as a hot water extractor with the combination of good products and a great technique. On leather you get AWESOME results! With a good technique/product combination a vapor steamer can tackle anything you wish.

Sure you can get those jobs done without a vapor steamer with different approaches, you just have to think probably this "is it a good investment for your business?" "will it make you more profitable or less?"
