  • Cutting down on product usage or becoming more efficient :)

I'm trying to cut down on the amount of products I carry on hand, I've picked up a bunch of half full, 1/3 full, 3/4 full, etc. Bottles of products through trading, mostly to get rid of some leftover poorboys and adams products, and am currently getting ready to order some new stuff. All of my details include an interior vaccuming/cleaning, and basically have 3 different levels of exterior detailing wash and wax(clay and #66), wash polish and wax(clay, #80, NXT), and ultimate wash and wax(clay, 83, 82, and #20). I'm trying to cut down on overall product usage so here's what I carry right now:
    NXT Wash
    Gold Class Wash
    Blue Clay
    #83
    #82
    #80
    #66
Scratch X(For hand polishing tight areas)
    NXT Tech Wax
    Gold Class Paste
    #20
    NXT Tech protectant
    #38 Tire and Trim gel
    #40 Vinyl and Rubber cleaner/conditioner
    #39 Heavy Duty Vinyl Cleaner
    Simple Green(I know I know)
    Gold class Leather aloe cleaner
    Gold Class leather aloe conditioner
    Einszett glass cleaner
    Final Inspection
    Quik Detailer

Now except for the gold class paste wax, everything else I have enough to pretty much do one or 2 more cars left, depending on the size, so it's time for me to order. A few observations: I really like tech wash, but I got to try the shampoo plus, and I like it a lot better. I like tech wax as well, but the shine/slickness doesn't last as long for me as #20, unless I keep it up with the tech booster, fine for me, but not for customers who's cars I don't clean as often. I'm thinking of ordering the following, if anyone can make some suggestions I'd really appreciate it.

    Shampoo Plus
    More Blue Clay
    #83
    #66
    ScratchX
    #20
    All Season Dressing
    #40
The New APC(to replace 39 and simple green)
    Megs Glass Cleaner
Last Touch QD(can this be used with clay?)
And I'm looking for a 1 step leather cleaner condition, should I use medallion, the detailer line, or the gold class one?

Would this be a pretty good arsenal to cover most of my needs? What would you guys use?
    I want 4" Softbuff pads!

I'm kind of confused as to which products you still have enough of...but here are a few suggestions:

      Endurance for the tires
      #80
      #82
Plastix (One of my favorite products, quick to apply and instant results!)
      ColorX
MPPP (I'm starting to love this product)
      Hot Rims/Cool Care

Those are just a few I love. I'm not sure about anyone else...but I seem to have great results topping NXT with MPPP.

Oh yea, get a Grit Guard for your wash bucket too!
