  • swirlX prepping?

I currently have a sealant/wax on my vehicle right now. Just purchased swirlX and would like to know if i should prep the paint with a pre-wax cleaner to clean the paint and take off the sealant or would using just swirlX be enough? After swirlX I plan on using NXT tech wax. This is all going to be applied by hand with a mequiars foam applicator and wiped off with a microfiber towel.

    swirlx prepping?

I currently have a sealant/wax on my car. I just bought some swirlX and was wondering if i should put a coat of pre-wax/cleaner on the paint to clean the sealant off before the swirlX, or would the swirlX alone be enough. I plan to use NXT tech wax after the swirlX and it will be done by hand with foam applicators and be wiped off with microfiber towels. I am using the swirlX to get minor scratches and spiderwebbing out of the paint.

      You Can.
It May Help You Get Through the Clear Coat Quick Because You Do Not Have to Go Through the Wax.
But IMO I Do Not Think It is Needed.

It would probably be better to wash, clay, SwirlX, wax.

Just use the SwirlX with a foam applicator pad after washing and drying the car first. If the paint needs to be clayed, clay before using SwirlX.

SwirlX is more than strong enough to remove any previously applied wax or paint sealant.

            1. Wash
            2. Clay
            3. SwirlX
            4. Wax

            Simple as that

Swirl X will act as a pre-wax cleaner... albeit, more aggressive. You should clay before using swirl x, and obviously wash the car.

                Merged your two threads.

You only need to post a topic once, that's pretty much true for other forums too.
