  • Another ADS Order...

Okay, I just made some cash and have to spend it.

I have the majority of recommended stuff right now but I was thinking about getting:

    The new M105/M205 Team

It seems Last Touch works really well, I have several bottles of UQD, should I still get some and try it out?

I have always used MF Drying Towels, How do the Water Magnets work? Should I get one?

Clay. I need clay. What is the best clay. Should I just get the consumer line kit or the pro line and a seperate bottle of QD.

Supreme Shine Spray. I have 2 bottles of GC Vinyl/Rubber Protectant. But want to give this stuff a try

    Thanks
    Matt

    Definatley 105/205
    Last Touch
Detailer Line Blue Clay no need to buy QD just use LT diluted 1:1
Supreme Shine Protectant Would Not Be A Bad Idea Either
    I love the Water Magnet
I Also Really Like ADS Microfibers they are similar to the ICE ones if you have used one.
Ultimate Quik Wax if you do not already have a million bottles.- My Favorite Consumer Product!!!

Seems to be the new thing, ADS sells samples and you have to decide

Last Touch if memory serves is great for quick detailing and using for claying, so it can be used in connection with buying the pro line clay.....

I don't use anything but my MF towels. I run the water with no nozzle on final rinse and let the water run off of the car and use my MF towels. Thought of buying the water magnets though, just never have.

When my collection of clay runs out, I'm either going to get the consumer 3 pack or the pro line. I guess it don't matter, there are two different types for the pro line, mild and aggressive. Agressive obviously is used for extreme contaminant removal and usually hazes the paint finish. You can use Last Touch diluted as a lubricant.

Supreme shine is shiny from what I read. I use M40 and Natural Shine. It's preference. Shiny or not. There is also Hyper Dressing which can be diluted to your liking.

Good thing about ADS are the samples.. of the pro lines that is. I like the consumer lines too as sometimes it's easy to find in a pinch.

Yeah, all I get is the samples from ADS. Great Program they have

I really like the Shiny Look, I know others don't.

Does Hyper Dressing work better than the others out there?

I already have UQW. I think I will get the Mild Clay then...

          Re: Another ADS Order...

I like both looks, hence M40 and Natural Shine.

I read great sucess of Hyper Dressing and it's dilution capabilities and how much product you get depending on dilution. Some have mixed for shiny or matte finish, so that's handy. Couldn't tell you if it's better or not. On our Yukon, Gold Class Trim Detailer works great on the plastics while All Season Dressing works better on our Neon. I never tried HD but a lot of folks like it!.

Yeah, a lot is personal preference

I would get Last Touch, it is great having a quik detailer in a large quanity, especiallly if you use it daily. plus Last Touch is great for claying and quick detailing

I like to use at least two water magnets on my truck even after using the free flow water method, and then follow up with microfibers on some areas. I really want to give the Soft Touch Microfiber Chamois a try.

I use the clay from the Smooth Surface clay kit. It has handled every challenge i have thrown at it. If you want something a little more aggressive then theres the mild clay in the Pro Line. I wouldnt use the aggressive clay if you dont have too. If you end up buying Last Touch then this will work as an excellent clay lube. i reuse QD bottles for mixing and diluting LT into a dedicated clay lube spray and use the compliant bottle for quik detailing

i have 3 bottles of GC Vinyl Rubber Protectant and i bought a lot because its being discotinued. I would order the Supreme Shine Protectant , i use it on my interior and all the trim i have on my exterior. Sometimes i use M40 though too

I would also buy the Ultimate Quik Wax if you havent done so already

            good luck

                Re: Another ADS Order...

I have all three types of clay: Smooth Surface, Mild, and Aggressive. The Smooth Surface is what I use 75% of the time and the other 25% is with the Aggressive clay. ...Too many things in the arsenal that I haven't tried...

UQD leaves a protectant behind, so you really shouldn't use it for clay usage. Plus, it's pretty expensive to use as a lubricant. The others (Last Touch, M34, and QD) do not leave a protectant and can be used for claying.

I really like the water magnets. I prefer the Marine water magnet. It is larger. All I need is the absorber and the water magnet.
