Difference between DC3 & #26

Hi
After reading some comments on how the nxt top with #26 combo looks great,i would like to try it out. But #26 comes in a gallon & its too much for me. A guy suggested to use dc3. Comparing the price,if i am not mistaken,not much different. So can i substitute #26 with dc3 to get a feel on the result? If not,could u explain the difference between the 2?

One more thing,the 2 dont have the hydrophobic polymer. So if i want to have that,can i just spray UQD afterwards or other suggestions? I am crazy about water beading & any LSP i put on has to have it.

Pretty much correct.

#26 and DC3 are both carnuba/polymer blends. Neither has the hydrophobic polymers.

Spraying with UQD or UQW after wont be quite the same as using Nxt 2.0, but wont hurt anything.

#26 does come in small quanities and is available at Advance Auto.

My local parts store carries #26 in a 16 oz. bottle. Have you went to those places to see if they carry it. Autozone, Advance Auto Parts and O'reilly's all carry it here.

i have both M26 and DC3 but hardly ever use them Its really hard to beat the newer technology. But i used to use M26 a lot

Unfortunately i am living on the other part of the world and the 2009 products wont be available until aug. Long and paintful wait, especially after reading someone with great results from using the new products.

Our Meg Center here doesnt have the smaller size of #26. I will try to look for the local stores that sell Meg.
