I'm on the search for which Meguiars product is most like Griots spray on car wash. I've been using spray on car wash exclusively on my new car since it's easy and convenient. Out of all the products listed on meguiars site, I think Last Touch sounds closest to Griots spray on car wash. Anyone already using Last Touch exclusively as a spray on wash? I'll be ordering a gallon of Last Touch to try it out, either way i'm sure it's a great product. I'm waiting for a nice day to clay my car and apply my NXT 2.0 for some real paint protection.

I personally would never use Last touch for anything more then dust or fingerprints. The probability of instilling scratches is to great at this point. I would wash it the conventional way if it is this bad.
However I will say that if my memory serves, the waterless car wash system that is sold down under is very close to the Last Touch. But it still not enough to convince me to use it if the vehicle is very dirty.quality creates its own demandComment

Yeah, Meguiar's doesn't make a waterless car wash, probably because if you're using something like that on anything more than light dust and fingerprints you're more likely to put swirls and scratches in your paint. The only waterless car wash I've heard of is Foam Away by Turtle Wax. I've never used it so I can't say how well it works. You might try that and see if you like it. Good luck!

Not to be a smart a--, but I think that it's time you gave your new car a real wash. I don't know of anyone on this forum who would recommend a waterless wash. Well there is one -- Charles W. He has had very good luck with Poor Boy's Spray and Wipe Waterless Wash.

DejaVu, Last Touch is not designed to be used as a waterless car wash. If you use it for that purpose, you risk putting swirls and scratches into your paint surface.Originally posted by DejaVu View Post

There's waterless washes and rinseless washes... the problem with not using a running stream of water to first rinse the car and then rinse the loosened dirt is you risk the increased potential for instilling swirls and scratches.
There's lots of threads on this forum as well as others and lots of opinions as to whether washing a car with a system that does not include running water scratches paint or not, so do some research and then some testing if you're so inclined and come up with a solution that works for you...

Also, just for your information, for any product you're interested in or purchase, go to that company's website and if they have a forum, join it and ask them if you'll scratch your car's paint if you use their products.

This type product are only good for DIY owners, not detailers. It's fast and convenient, it's not necessarily the best thing for your paint. You have to use the 2 bucket/grit guard/etc. To do it right.
When I used to be a DIY owner, I used the Armor All Bucketless Car Wash and that alone ruined my paint, and that used water.
Only use any type spray on product to remove fingerprints and dust
