Looking for smaller pads

I'm looking for smaller pads to use with my G110 for smaller areas. I've found these: http://www.autodetailingsolutions.ne...-ccs-pads.html

but i'm gonna need a backing plate. The one i found says it's for rotary. Will it fit on the DA?

Which Lake Country color = meg's pads agressiveness?

I bought this kit from autogeek. http://autogeek.net/spot-buff-kit.html

They are 4" CCS pads from Lake Country and I like them a lot.

The orange pad is in between the 7006 and the 8006.

The white is like the 8006

The black is in between the 8006 and the 9006

The blue is like the 9006

Those are just guesstimations. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. The kit comes with the proper backing plate and works great with my G110. The smaller size helps me work in tighter areas and I think they spin a bit better after being covered with product.

What's actually cool about the little backing plate is that you can keep it on the G110 and close the case while it is still on. Convenient little bonus if you're as lazy as me!

How about some 5" ones too. Danase has them on clearance for $4 each.

I have the 3" pads and plate from ADS. I'm not impressed with the foam pads themselves, (maybe I'm just spoiled by Meg's. Hint, hint Meguiar's ) but ADS does sell an adapter for that backing plate that converts it to a DA.

Anyone have a preference between the 3" pads from ADS and the variety of 4" pads elsewhere?

Wow I am so lazy i just put the pads in a bag and leave my G110 out of the box but ontop of my table inside my house...kindof where I keep all my car stuff

I'm thinking about trying some smaller pads on the PC to tackle some RIds in the clear on the top of a bumper and small areas around door handles (instead of working by hand). Anyone have any comments on the above pads?

The ADS pads work fine, they just don't seem as soft and plush as the Meg's. I use them for the same thing you want too. Bumpers, door jambs, around door handles, side mirrors, the seems under trunk and hood lids....etc... I'm not sure if they do actually give a different result than the Meg's pads, but to be safe I always do the detail work with the 3" first. Then I can go back over the area with a bigger pad to blend, just in case.
