  • DC cleaner wax

last saturday night i washed my cadi. the lower pannels were full of tar from the road crews filling pot holes lately. i cleaned all that off and after applied some cleaner wax by hand using a meguiars applicator pad.

the DC cleaner wax i used was the small bottle that came with my clay bar kit i bought last summer. it seemed a little more difficult to apply than my normal dose of NXT wax but it wipe off very easy even though I applied a heavy coat of it.

I was very suprised to see how glossy the paint was after and how many of the fine scratches it removed. if not removed and filled in i dont care because it looks great!

what a great mid winter wax!

I have run into the same thing with the Cleaner Wax
I think that is just how it is, NXT is a more liquid wax than the cleaner Wax IMO.
But When it is done it comes off in a breeze.

      Re: DC cleaner wax

I used cleaner waxes for years (i will admit it was another brand that starts with a M) until I found out about the wonderful world of detailing and ALL of the different products out there.

There are several articles referrenced on here about just how good the vleaner waxes really are and where they fit in.

Some say that the cleaner waxes are probably your best option for a daily driver that is always outside. Good compromise between value, good looks, protection and durability.
