Cant get bird dropping stain off convertible top. It's cloth/canvas. 2001 BMW.

Ive tried car soap. I've tried all purpose degreaser. The poop is gone but theres still a white stain.

I would wash the car and top and then use a convertible top detailer.
Something like a trim detailer or 303 Areospace.
Or try Meguiars APC

You might want to give Amazing Roll Off a try. It was originally formulated to clean canvas sails and works great on everything I've tried it on so far..... tires, wheel wells, under the hood, outdoor furniture and all around the house.

I've never seen it in stores but if you Google it you'll come up with tons of places to buy it online.

Hi:

If the top is white, sounds like the hydrochloric acid in the bird dropping may have bleached/cleaned the top.
