  • Frozen Interior Quik Detail

I bought a bottle of IQD last year and totally forgot about it untill I saw it in the back of my trunk last week. It's thawed out now but is it any good?

Shake it up and pour it into a clear glass jar and look to see if it has a uniform appearance, if it does pour it back into the spray bottle and try it out on a small area and check your results.

Freezing usually changes the product in a way that alters it so that it doesn't always stay in it's original configuration.

Yeah most stuff that I have that freezes totally changes, but you'll have to do what Mike said.

Whew... thought this was one of those threads about "chilling your QD"! Thankfully the insanity isn't at MOL yet.

              Thanks for all the replies!
I emptied out the QID into a car was container (cleaned out) and the color was that of a pina colada with a very light yellowish haze at the top. I let it sit for about 6 hours and nothing seperated, it stayed at the same consistancy, color, and haze went away. I put it back into the spray bottle and did a test on a door panel and wiped it off with a supreme shine towel. Now is QID supposed to shine after the application or is supposed to have more of a matte finnish?

It's basically a light, liquid cleaner that leaves behind a fresh scent and a little UVA and UVB protection.

So, no it's not supposed to leave the surface shiny, but actually like the finish was when new only cleaner and fresher looking and smelling.

AWSOME! That puppy hid in my trunk and spent two fridgid winters and a hot and humid summer and still works like a champ!
Just looked at the door panel and it's looking good.
                  Thanks Mike, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

                    Re: Frozen Interior Quik Detail

I had QID, QD, and detailer line glass cleaner in my Jeep through two winters now and they are fine. Probably frozen and thawed 100's of times. Gotta keep my little kit with me at all times.
