  • Help with Wax Mistakes

I have a 2001 Volvo V40 1.9T and my brother had been waxing this car.. Unfortunately, the wax/buff pad he was using slipped onto the black I think plastic roof rails. After he was done we noticed that there were white fades on the roof rails ... so we quickly tried to wipe it with some water and it wouldn't come off... What can i do to "eliminate" these sort off dried wax marks? Is there a product I can use??

I personally like to use Meguiar's APC+ (All-Purpose Cleaner +), or the original APC formula.

You can scrub with a terry cloth towel, or a medium hardness scrub brush. Just make sure you treat (Gold Class Trim Detailer, All Season Dressing, M40 etc) the plastic once you finish cleaning them

You might try some Meguiars #40.

This works pretty well with a some type of nylon brush

        M-39 Heavy Duty Vinyl Cleaner
