The problem is the color particles from the Tabasco are inside the leather, (not just on the leather), and finding a way to get what's inside of a material like leather to the outside is difficult especially if the goal is to make it look like the stain was never there.

Hairspray worked well for ink stains on my leather. Not sure how well for tabasco, but might be worth a try. Start off with a clean cloth. Spray some of the hairspray directly onto the leather and leave it for a few moments to dry. Use the cloth to wipe off the hairspray and a second cloth that is slightly damp to remove the stickiness of the hairspray from the leather upholstery. The hairspray will gradually fade, and, if like ink, the tabasco might lift out. A second or third application may be required, depending on how stubborn the stain is. Be careful not to rub too hard.

Cut it up and serve it in the gumbo. Laissez les bons temps rouler!

Ok, I'd love to know HOW the tabasco got on the leather in the first place?

Let the good times roll......but not in the car. People shouldn't be eating in their cars. My girlfriend's 40k car look like dump because she eats in it, but if you drop a cookie crumb on her cheap cloth furniture, she goes nuts.

So what are some other recommendations for the stain?
